elcome to Brian's Old Photos dot com! At the beginning of my photographic journey,
over 35 years ago when I was in junior high school, I was an avid picture-taker. This passion for photography continued through my years in high school and college. During those ten years, I took many, many pictures — most of them were mediocre, some were just plain bad, but others seemed to have some artistic merit. For the most part, those photographs have just sat in boxes, neglected for the past 25 years.
Recently, at the end of March 2011, right around the time of my 49th birthday, I dug them out and organized them by date and theme. Some pictures — like the self-portrait at the top of this page that I took when I was 18 years old — I had not laid eyes on since they were printed. As I was looking through them all, I started to feel that some of them were interesting enough to share with others. Hence this Web site, in which I offer to you the best of my early years of photography.
To get started, you can click on either the Photos of People link or the Photos of Places link. Before you leave, be sure to come with me on my 35-year photographic journey.
